Copyright & Image Usage

All photographs, videos, and other visual material published on this website (collectively, the “Works”) are original works of authorship created by and the exclusive property of Vedran Ivanec.

Copyright

Copyright in the Works arises automatically upon their creation and is protected without any need for registration, deposit, or a copyright notice. Vedran Ivanec is the sole author and rights holder of the Works and reserves all rights in them.

Permitted use

You may view the Works in your web browser for your own private, personal, and non-commercial enjoyment. No other use is permitted.

Prohibited use

Without the prior, express written permission of Vedran Ivanec, you may not, in whole or in part and by any means or in any form now known or later developed:

copy, download, save, screenshot, scrape, or otherwise reproduce the Works;
share, re-publish, post, or upload the Works (including on social media, blogs, or any third-party platform);
distribute, sell, license, sub-license, rent, or lend the Works;
publicly display, broadcast, or communicate the Works to the public;
modify, crop, edit, retouch, apply filters to, or create derivative works from the Works;
use the Works for any commercial purpose or advertising; or
use the Works to train, develop, or evaluate any artificial-intelligence or machine-learning system or dataset.

This applies equally to commercial and non-commercial use, and regardless of whether attribution is given.

Moral rights

Vedran Ivanec asserts his moral rights as author, including the right to be identified as the author of the Works and the right to object to any distortion, mutilation, or other modification of, or derogatory action in relation to, the Works.

Requesting permission

Licences and permission to use any of the Works may be requested in writing at [email protected]. Any permission granted is limited to the specific use, medium, duration, and territory expressly stated in writing; all rights not expressly granted are reserved.

Governing law & international protection

The Works are protected:

in Croatia, under the Copyright and Related Rights Act (Zakon o autorskom pravu i srodnim pravima, NN 111/2021);
throughout the European Union, under EU copyright law (including Directives 2001/29/EC and (EU) 2019/790); and
internationally, under the Berne Convention for the Protection of Literary and Artistic Works and related treaties, which extend protection to more than 180 countries, including outside the European Union.

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Croatia, without prejudice to the mandatory protections available to the author under the law of any country in which protection is sought.

Enforcement

Unauthorised use of the Works is an infringement of copyright and may give rise to civil liability (including injunctions and claims for damages) and, in serious cases, criminal liability under applicable law.
